On January 4th, I had the honor of participating in a beautiful health fair organized in the isolated community of Bosque Toro Negro in Orocovis. This event, full of hope and a deep commitment to well-being, marked a special welcome to the new year, bringing together various organizations and professionals committed to comprehensive health.
During the fair, I offered acupuncture, homeopathy and auriculoacupuncture services, providing participants with natural tools to improve their well-being. It was an enriching experience to be able to serve the members of this community and witness their openness to complementary therapies.
The event had the collaboration of other prominent organizations such as International Shade, Hispanic Family Counseling, Morales MD Psychiatrist, and the Friends of the Black Bull Forest, who also offered their support and services. This collective effort demonstrated that when we join forces, we can create a significant impact in communities that often face barriers to accessing health care.
One of the most memorable moments was the presence of the Three Wise Men, who brought joy and hope to all those present. This gesture was a symbolic reminder that there is always reason to celebrate and keep hope alive, even in the most challenging circumstances.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the event organizers and to the community of Bosque Toro Negro for their warm welcome. Starting the year with such a significant event reaffirms my commitment as a doctor of naturopathic medicine to continue promoting health in a holistic, accessible and respectful way of the needs of each person.
In this new year, I invite you to reflect on how we can take better care of our health, both physical and emotional, and to look for options that connect us with our comprehensive well-being. May 2025 be a year of health, peace and prosperity for all.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of this wonderful event and for starting together a year full of opportunities to grow and heal!
